AppDoctor

Getting started

Install AppDoctor, sign in, add your app and check your first keyword rankings.

AppDoctor is a desktop ASO tool for macOS and Windows. Everything it learns about your apps and keywords is stored on your computer.

Install

  1. Download the installer for your computer from the download page.
  2. On a Mac, open the .dmg and drag AppDoctor to Applications. On Windows, run the installer.
  3. Open AppDoctor.

Choose Sign in. Your browser opens with a short code; check that it matches the one in the app, then approve. The app is signed in from then on, and keeps working offline for up to a week between check-ins.

You need an active subscription to use the signed app. See pricing.

Add your app

Paste your app's App Store link (for example https://apps.apple.com/us/app/your-app/id1234567890) or its numeric ID. AppDoctor reads your app's public listing in every country you choose.

Add keywords and check ranks

  1. Add the searches you want to rank for. Start with what someone would type, not what your app is called.
  2. Pick the countries to track.
  3. Choose Check ranks. AppDoctor searches the App Store from your computer and records where your app appears.

Ranks are checked again every day while the app is open, and each result is kept so you can see trends.
